In need of a pair of new glasses?

Chobe NP and the Chobe river are located near the town of Kasane in Northern Botswana. It is here that Botswana borders with Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Many people visit Chobe on the way to the Victoria Falls. As Chobe NP gets very crowded, the authorities have put restrictions on the game drives in the park which results in the morning game drive being restricted from 6am to 9 am and all the jeeps doing more or less the same loop and gives you a zoo-like feeling. The safari's from the river bed are more interesting but also here there are many large boats so it misses authenticity and the accommodations tend to cater for mass tourism.
