The San or Bushmen are traditionally hunters-gatherers. About 100.000 Bushmen are still remaining in Southern-Africa, mainly in Botswana, Namibia, Angola and South Africa. About 5000 San are living in the Kalahari, mostly in very harsh conditions without access to (clean) water .
